In early March of this year, The Peculiar Pelican made the decision to move to a new and more convenient location in Oakland Park for our consignors and customers. During the move...city, state and government officials moved to close all business' and issue a shelter in place for everyone in South Florida due to the Covid 19 crisis.

At that time, the moving company refused to continue the move because of fear of their health and the new landlord made unreasonable financial demands of the Pelican during this national emergency.

The decision was made to move all inventory to secured warehouse storage pending the move to a future location. Once a new store location is secured, all current Consignors will be notified.

*To all Consignors with a VALID contract executed 90 days prior to March 1, 2020, your items are secure. In the event that the Peculiar Pelican is unable to secure a new location in a timely manner, appointments will be made for you to retrieve your items. Be advised this is for Consignors with contracts executed on December 1, 2019 or after.
